El Molla Meets with IOCs Heads

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, met with heads of several international oil companies (IOCs) on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC 2018), Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

El Molla met with Bob Dudley, CEO of BP and talked about the company’s work in Egypt, especially in North Alexandria and West Mediterranean gas development projects.

The minister further talked with Sami Iskander, Executive Vice President, Upstream Joint Ventures, Shell, about work programs in Mediterranean deep water fields and Western Desert fields.

El Molla also discussed oil and gas business with leaders from Edison, Lukoil, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, and Dragon Oil.

On the sideline of the event, El Molla met with head of the US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, David Phillips, to discuss attracting US investments to the Egyptian oil and gas sector.

At the end of the discussions, the minister revealed that he has invited IOCs’ heads to attend the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2019).
