El Molla Meets with Energy Ministers

Egyptian Petroleum Minister, Tarek El Molla, met with Saudi Energy Minister, Khalid Al-Falih, to discuss global petroleum market updates, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC 2018).

During the meeting, the two ministers talked about supporting initiatives taken by The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC producers to have a balance between supply and demand.

El Molla and his counterpart further discussed sharing expertise, as well as oil and gas cooperation, especially in Arab Petroleum Pipelines Company (SUMED)’s pipeline linking Sidi Kerir to Ain Sokhna.

The Egyptian minister also met with Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates, the Director-General and CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

The two ministers discussed investments opportunities in Egypt, and highlighted the importance of sharing oil and gas expertise and boosting cooperation.
