El Molla Meets with Dana Gas CEO

The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, met with Dana gas CEO, Patrick Allman-Ward, to discuss the company’s natural gas development and production projects in its onshore concession in the Nile Delta, Egypt Oil & gas reports.

The meeting reviewed the progress of Dana Gas’s ongoing work in the Nile Delta, which aims to increase natural gas output in partnership with El Wastani Petroleum Company (WASCO).

The meeting also discussed the company’s work at the North Arish offshore concession, which has promising geological structures similar to those found in other parts of the Eastern Mediterranean.

The minister reviewed Dana Gas’s exploration and production, and development plans for fiscal year 2018/19.

Dana Gas is keen to develop its business in Egypt, said Allman-Ward, adding that the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Petroleum to improve the investment climate is a motivation for his company to intensify activities, and to accelerate the pace of current and future work programs.
