The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, announced a slate of appointments and promotions, reports Egypt Oil & Gas.

Safaa Abdel Qader was appointed as the head of the Egyptian Bahrain Gas Derivatives Company (EBGDCO).

Amr Taema was assigned to be the head of Mansoura Petroleum Company.

Amr El Leithy was appointed as the head of Midor Electricity Company (MIDELEC).

Ahmed El Shaer is the new head of Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company (WEPCO).

Ayman Khalil El Saeiy was appointed head of Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA), and Samir Abady is the new head of Tanmia Petroleum Company.

El Molla appointed Salah Abdel Kerim as head of the Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC) and Mohamed Essam El Din EL Qaffas as head of North Sinai Petroleum Company (NOSPCO).

In addition, El Molla appointed Wageih Haraz as the head of Oasis Petroleum Company (OAPCO) and Ahmed Mohy El Din Hassan as the head of East Zeit Petroleum Company (ZEITCO). The minister further appointed Ibrahim Massoud as Deputy Manager of Operations for WEPCO.
