Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, conducted an inspection tour of the workflow at the National Advanced Transmission and Automation Center (NATA), the ministry said in a statement.

El Molla listened to a presentation from the center’s employees about the continuous development the center is witnessing to keep pace with the network expansion plans and operating system updates.

The minister praised the remarkable development of NATA and its ability to cope with the huge changes witnessed by the Egyptian natural gas industry, and the efficiency of the youth working in NATA who reflect the success of the petroleum sector in maintaining the communication and succession of generations that have the ability to work with modern technologies and have a vision and awareness of the importance of what it performs, whether for the oil sector or the national economy or securing the needs of the sectors of the state and our people for natural gas.

El Molla was accompanied on the tour by Magdy Galal, Chairman of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), Hisham Nour Eldin, Head of the Central Administration of the Minister’s Office, and Yasser Salah El Din, President of the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO).
