Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, reviewed developments of the Cooperation Warehouse project in Mostorod that costs EGP 400 million in addition to the renovation works achieved in the storage warehouses and shipping platform in the area, according to a press release.

The inspecting visit followed a meeting of the geographical committee of Mostorod, which was chaired by El Molla to discuss the development of petroleum geographic areas that aligns with the goals and vision of the state’s sustainable development plan 2030.

During the meeting, El Molla underlined the necessity to implement the procedures of health, safety, and environment (HSE) to protect the work environment, personnel and equipment.

During the inspection tour, El Molla followed up work at Cairo and Egyptian petroleum refineries, transportation, and the circulation of petroleum products at Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC).

El Molla also emphasized the necessity to adhere to COVID-19 precautionary measures to protect people and their families, praising the success of oil marketing companies in providing disinfectants and household cleaners to fight the pandemic.
