Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla met with US Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk to explore ways to accelerate the pace of bilateral cooperation.

This came on the sidelines of CERAWeek which was held in Houston in the US. During the meeting, El Molla highlighted the importance of the partnership with the US to speed up sustainable development and decarbonization efforts in the oil and gas industry while localizing technologies in Egypt.

The meeting also tackled the latest developments of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF).
