Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla and the President of Schneider Electric in the Middle East and Africa Caspar Herzberg have met to discuss boosting cooperation in digitalizing Egyptian oil and gas sector as part of the Modernization project to enhance operational efficiency.

The two sides have met on the sidelines of CERAWeek conference which is hosted in Houston, US. 

During their meeting, the two parties discussed the possibility of cooperation on providing training and building capabilities programs.

El Molla stated that this could be done through the Human Resources program of the Modernization project in cooperation with the international partners according to the latest standards. 

Herzberg expressed his desire to contribute in building capacities in the Egyptian petroleum sector.
