Endeavor Egypt desires to merge with Centamin plc in the Sukari gold mine, according to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, according to a press release.

El Molla said that this announcement involves the two companies and Egypt welcomes new international companies in the mining field, especially after amending the Mineral Wealth Law.

The minister noted that Endeavor’s desire comes in line with supporting the Sukari project and gives international companies positive signals to invest in Egypt.
