During the Assembly, EMC Chairman & Managing Director Eng. Wagih El-Gishy highlighted the company’s achievements in the petroleum sector in Egypt and abroad.
EMC successfully renewed its maintenance contracts in Iraq with the Italian company to handle the maintenance projects for current and future production stations. EMC also collaborates with different oil companies within the Iraqi market including BP, Exxonmobil, Samsung and Drake& Skull.
EMC is currently planning to expand its work within Africa where it handles the maintenance for the LNG Gas Plant in Angola and is heading towards starting new operation activities in Mozambique and Kenya. This comes in addition to offering pre-operation and maintenance services for polymer injection units for oil wells for the French SNF company operating within Egypt, Algeria, and Oman.
El Molla affirmed that maintenance companies supporting the petroleum sector in Egypt should follow the international standards to maintain their position in the markets they serve and to gain larger share within the local and international markets.
