El Molla Awards Second License for Marine Fuel Supply to Peninsula Petroleum

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has delivered the second license for supplying marine fuels to the Peninsula Petroleum which will start its business at Egyptian ports in the Mediterranean.

The Minister highlighted the importance of Peninsula as one of the major international companies in supplying marine fuel,  noting that this is the second license after granting the first one to Minerva Marine. This comes within the framework of Egypt’s ambition to becoming a leading hub in the field of marine fuel supply and maximizing added value for Egypt’s ports and the vital Suez Canal. 

El Molla pointed out that Egypt enjoys unique investment capabilities and opportunities in marine services which enable it to be one of the top countries in this field in the world. 

During the meeting, the company’s delegation showcased its activities in the field of marine fuel supply. Piotr Dabrowski, Head of Physical Sales at Peninsula, expressed his pleasure for getting the license, stating that the company studies possible investment opportunities in Egypt to expand its business during the coming period.
