El Molla Reveals EGYPS 2019 Theme, Agenda

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, announced the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2019) to take place from February 11th to February 13rd, under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

El Molla highlighted in a press conference that EGYPS 2019 will be held under the name ‘ North Africa and The Mediterranean: Delivering The Energy Needs of Tomorrow.’ The event will be an important window for Egypt to exhibit its opportunities and special capabilities in the oil and gas sector.

The press conference was held on February 5th in attendance of several oil and gas leaders.

Holding EGYPS for the third year is considered an investment for what has been achieved in the past two shows, El Molla noted.

The minister pointed out that more people are participating in EGYPS 2019, compared to the previous two years, as it became the most prominent oil and gas event in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The event will have 10 strategic sessions to discuss vital issues in the industry, accompanied by 33 technical sessions, as well as 21 discussions and round tables to view several points in health; safety and environment (HSE), finance, and investments. The event will further have sessions on women’s contributions in the energy sector and excellence awards will be given for HSE and women in energy, El Molla stated.
