Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has met with Musabbeh Al Kaabi, Executive Director of Low Carbon Solutions and International Growth at ADNOC Group, on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024).

The meeting reviewed investment opportunities in different petroleum fields.

Al Kaabi expressed the company’s interest in working in many petroleum fields in Egypt, including research, exploration, and production activities in fields of oil, gas, and new and renewable energy projects.

He also highlighted Egypt’s large, stable, and attractive market for investments in the petroleum and energy sectors.

For his side, El Molla expressed his delight in expanding cooperation with ADNOC in the petroleum sector. He emphasized that Egypt has the necessary infrastructure and production facilities to support the implementation of projects and accelerate their production.

The meeting also reviewed an agreement to be signed between ADNOC and bp for research, exploration, and production of oil and gas in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The agreement is aligned with Egypt’s vision of intensifying research and exploration work in this promising region.
