Egypt’s Natural Gas Production Increases by 14% Y.o.Y

Egypt’s natural gas production increased by around 14.11% year-on-year (Y.o.Y), rising to 3.12 million tons in November 2017, compared to 2.734 million tons in November 2016, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

Consumption of natural gas increased around 10.4% Y.o.Y to 3.472 million tons in November 2017 from 3.144 million tons the previous November, CAPMAS report stated.

Production of natural gas decreased by around 4.59% in November 2017 from October. Output in November declined to 3.12 million tons from 3.27 million tons in October.

Meanwhile, natural gas consumption decreased by around 6.16% to reach 3.472 in November 2017, compared to 3.70 million tons in October.
