Egyptian butane imports decreased by 40.34% year-on-year (YOY) reaching 126,000 tons in October 2018, compared to 211,200 in October 2017, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Statistics published by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) reveal that butane consumption fell by 10.3% YOY, falling to 306,000 tons in October 2018 from 341,200 tons in the same month of 2017.
Meanwhile, the country’s butane output increased by 5.3%, producing 143,000 in October 2018 compared to 135,800 in the October a year earlier.
Egypt’s monthly butane imports rose by 11.5% from the 113,000 tons of butane imported in September.
