Egypt, Vietnam Discuss Joint Cooperation

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla met with Vietnamese Vice Minister of Industry and Trade (MOIT) Cao Quốc Hưng in the first meeting of the Egyptian-Vietnamese sub-committee on trade and industry, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The committee was established by a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the two countries in the framework of the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Vietnam in September 2017.

During the meeting, the minister and his guest discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas field. El Molla emphasized the positive investment opportunities available in Egypt that could be mutually beneficial.

Vietnam is looking forward to support joint cooperation and benefit from the distinguished Egyptian experiences in the oil and gas industry, said Hưng, who is heading the Vietnamese delegation in the sub-committee’s meeting.
