The Egyptian government will cooperate with Ibrahim Samak, a World Energy Expert and a member of the Presidential Advisory Council, in a huge project to manufacture Egyptian solar cells from sand with a capacity of 1GB, the Minister of Military Production, Mohamed El Assar told Amwal Alghad.

The ministry pointed out that the project is currently in the feasibility study phase.

He further stressed that Egypt currently needs to benefit from the Egyptian minds abroad. “The Egyptians living abroad have a strong desire to help their homeland,” the Minister explained.

He also highlighted that the military production is part of the Egyptian industry, noting that the ministry has started collaborating with the private sector.
