The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum will increase natural gas exports to Jordan to 150 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) by the end of 2018, according to Daily News Egypt (via MENAFN).
The estimated export capacity from Egypt to Jordan is 1 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d), an official at the ministry stated.
The ministry finalized negotiations with Jordan in September to sign a deal to export around 250 mmscf/d of Egyptian natural gas to a Jordanian power plant, an official source at the ministry previously told Daily News Egypt.
Egypt resumed gas exports of around 50 mmscf/d to Jordan in July 2018 via the pipeline connecting the two countries.
