Egypt to Complete Gahdam Fuel Warehouse in 7 Months

Egypt will complete the construction of the Gahdam fuel warehouse in Assiut within seven months, an official at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) told Amwal Al Ghad.

The project, which belongs to the El-Neel Oil Marketing Company, is estimated to cost around EGP 35 million and is part of the plan to bridge the gap between production and domestic consumption of petroleum products and to ensure Upper Egypt governorates have adequate access to diesel, benzene and mazut.

The Petroleum Projects & Technical Consultations Company (Petrojet) is handing the fuel warehouses implementations for the El-Neel Oil Marketing Company, and it seeks to contribute to the preservation of the environment through the establishment of service stations and the supply of cars with new and renewable energy.
