Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, recently hosted Judith Kapinga, Tanzania’s Deputy Minister of Energy for Energy Transition, and her delegation. The meeting explored potential partnerships between the two nations in the areas of natural gas and hydrogen development.

El Molla emphasized the long-standing ties between Egypt and Tanzania, reiterating the Egyptian petroleum sector’s commitment to collaborating with Tanzania on strategic projects mutually beneficial to both countries.

Kapinga commended the organization of the EGYPS 2024 conference, recognizing its global significance as an energy platform. She expressed Tanzania’s keen interest in partnering with Egypt’s petroleum sector on hydrogen and natural gas projects.
