Egypt Signs Middle Management Training MoUs at EGYPS 2022

Minister of Petroleum and Resources Tarek El Molla witnessed the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in the field of training and qualifying young and middle management leaders with various international oil and energy companies, which will launch and sponsor the new phase of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ Middle-Management program, which is a part of the Modernization Project.

From the Egyptian side, Alaa Hagar, Head of the Central Administration of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Petroleum, signed the MoUs. Meanwhile, the MoUs were signed with Denisse Abudinén, ENAP Sipetrol Egypt’s General Manager;  Karim Alaa, BP’s Egypt President; Tameer Nasser, Director & General Manager of Baker Hughes; Ahmed Helmy, Halliburton Vice President for North Africa; Kamel El Sawy, President of Kuwait Energy Egypt; Sherif Bayoumi, Executive Director of Schlumberger in Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean; Khaled Kacem, Country Chairman and Managing Director in Shell Egypt; Mostafa El-Bagoury, CEO of Siemens in Egypt; and Ossama Maguid, Yokogawa Egypt Country Manager.

On behalf of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, an MoU was signed by David Chi, President of Apache Corporation and Country Manager for Apache in Egypt, as well as being the Executive Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.
