Egypt is pushing to reduce the price of natural gas for manufactures and the Economic Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives will issue an important decision in this regard by the first of April, Al Ahram Gate reported.

Mohamed Badrawy, a member of the committee, stressed that the energy costs and natural gas prices are integral for the industry, stressing on the necessity of developing the industry through updating its mechanism and tools. He also confirmed that Egypt has made great strides in some industries, of which the oil and gas is at the forefront.

Additionally, Badrawy confirmed the necessity of supporting the Egyptian exports in light of the increase of competence’s capabilities for the Egyptian exports in Africa.
