Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla held a meeting with Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Qatari Minister of State for Energy Affairs on the sidelines of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) held in Algeria.

Both parties showcased means to strength cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector including oil and gas research and exploration projects offered through international auctions in Egypt.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed participation opportunities in new refining and petrochemical projects, aligning with Egypt’s commitment to enhancing the added value of its natural resources.

Additionally, the two ministers deliberated on their respective countries’ endeavors to secure energy sources, along with the latest developments in liquefied natural gas markets.
