Under the high patronage of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, Egypt Oil & Gas organized the second of three technical field workshops as part of the Egypt Oil & Gas 2024 Convention (10th edition).

The second workshop, held on September 24 at El Salam Base in Khalda Fields, focused on the challenges, success stories, and opportunities related to Production Optimization, Operational Energy Efficiency and HSE. It featured technical presentations from Khalda Petroleum, Agiba Petroleum, Badr El-Din Petroleum Company (Bapetco), PetroFarah, Petrosannan, and Petroshahd.

Other participating companies delivering presentations included El Hamra Oil, Marina Petroleum Company, Burg El Arab, Norpetco, and WEPCO.

The first workshop took place on September 14 at the General Petroleum Company (GPC) Field in Ras Gharib. The findings and outcomes from these workshops will be presented at the EOG Convention 2024, which is set to take place in November under the patronage of Minister Karim Badawi.

The workshops were supported by EGPC, technically prepared by the Egypt Oil & Gas Committee, and sponsored by United Energy Egypt (UEE).
