Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, met with his Iraqi counterpart, Thamir Ghadhban, to discuss boosting joint relation in the oil and gas sector, as well as opportunities for Egyptian companies to increase their projects in Iraq, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The two ministers talked about several topics of common interest regarding global oil market’s development.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OAPEC) 101st meeting of the Council of Ministers, which took place in Kuwait on December 22.
El Molla pointed out the importance of discussions in boosting Arabs integration and cooperation, highlighting the value of exchanging experts between the Egyptian and Iraqi sides to make the best use of the available experts and technologies.
