Egypt’s Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee has announced an increase in fuel prices for Q4 2024 due to rising production and import costs, according to an official statement.
The new prices will take effect on October 18, 2024, with a reassessment scheduled for six months from now. The adjusted fuel prices are as follows:
- 95 Octane Gasoline: 17 EGP per liter
- 92 Octane Gasoline: 15.25 EGP per liter
- 80 Octane Gasoline: 13.75 EGP per liter
- Diesel: 13.50 EGP per liter
- Kerosene: 13.50 EGP per liter
- Automobile Gas: 7 EGP/m³
- Mazut (for other industries): 9500 EGP per ton
It is important to note that the price of Mazut supplied to the electricity and food industries will remain unchanged.
