Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has met with the Executive Vice President for Global Product Lines and Technology of Weatherford, Depinder Sandhu, on the sidelines of Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2024 event.

During the meeting, they reviewed the company’s capabilities and its technological expertise and solutions in the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) operations.

El Molla said that the petroleum sector has clear strategy depends upon employing new innovative technologies to increase production.

On his side, Sandhu expressed his pleasure for the cooperation with the Egyptian petroleum sector noting that Weatherford provides developed technologies and digital solutions for E&P activities. He mentioned success stories with Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) in the energy efficiency, expressing desire for more cooperation during the next period.
