Within the framework of his participation on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in the 18th summit of the L’Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) in Tunisia, Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and head of the Egyptian delegation at the summit, met with Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary General of the OIF, the ministry said in a statement.
On behalf of Egypt, El Molla congratulated the Secretary-General of the organization on her appointment for a second term, expressing Egypt’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the organization, which includes a large number of African countries, within the framework of maximizing opportunities for Egyptian-African cooperation.
Mushikiwabo expressed her happiness and pride in the existing cooperation between Egypt and the OIF, especially with regard to the Sanjour University for Development in Africa, which Egypt is hosting on its land, expressing her appreciation for President El Sisi’s approval of granting the university a piece of land in the city of Borg El Arab to build a headquarters that allows doubling the number of African students studying there.
