Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, met with Apache’s CEO, John Christmann, and they discussed the company’s agenda for exploration and production (E&P) in the Western Desert, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The meeting reviewed available opportunities for the company to pump new investments in the E&P field.
The two oil and gas leaders discussed the mutual integration to boost E&P operation in Apache’s concessions in Egypt during the upcoming period, as well as the utilization of the latest technologies to discover and develop oil and natural gas reserves in deep strata that have not been used yet.
Christmann pointed out that Apache’s trust in investing in the Egyptian oil and gas sector is increasing due to the important implemented reforms.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the CERAWeek taking place in Houston, US.
