The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation’s (EGPC) Chairman, Salah Abdel Kerim met with Marco Villa, Chief Operating Officer of the Italian company Technip Energy, in the presence of Wael Lotfy, Chairman of ENPPI.
During the meeting, Villa explained that Technip has a long history of cooperation with Egypt and that he personally spent more than twenty years working in Egypt, and that Egypt has a special place in his heart.
Villa stated that Technip has recently participated in many major projects being implemented in Egypt, whether in research and exploration or in projects related to processing, transportation and distribution of raw materials, refining and petrochemicals.
The meeting focused on the Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC) project. It highlighted the rapid progress and the collaboration between Technip, Petrojet, and ENPPI. The meeting also discussed finalizing the framework to expedite the ANOPC project.
