As part of a series of inspection tours and field follow-ups on oil refining companies in Suez, Nasr Petroleum Company (NPC) has witnessed a field tour to monitor the development of its activities.
The tour was led by Mohamed Ali Hassanein, EGPC’s Deputy Chairman for Refining and Manufacturing, accompanied by Eman El Shazly, EGPC’s Deputy Chairman Assistant for Refining, and a group of engineers from the work team of EGPC’s Refining Taskforce.
During the visit, Mohamed Abdullah Hassan, NPC Chairman and Chairman of the Petroleum Geographical Committee for the Suez and Ismailia regions, presented the progress of the company’s various activities and the current status of the projects, which will be completed within a few months.
The projects discussed included the gas recovery unit for butane production, the seawater desalination project, the oil separation unit, the new asphalt shipping platform, industrial security projects – the second phase, and energy conservation projects.
Hassan highlighted the keenness of the entire company’s management and all its employees to keep pace with the development and modernization plans for the production and the speedy completion of all previous projects and their interest in improving performance efficiency and safety of operations.
NPC has implemented new projects that include AS Built @ 3D MODELING, Simulation and Digitalization, the SAP program, the LI.M.S program for chemical laboratories and linking them to the authority; SCADA and other digital systems to raise efficiency, develop performance and safe operation.
