EGPC, Baker Hughes Sign Agreement for Carbon Emissions Reduction, Flare Gas Recovery

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Baker Hughes signed a services agreement to cooperate in reducing carbon emissions and flare gas recovery, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced.

The agreement was signed by Alaa El Batal, EGPC Chairman, and Tameer Nasser, Baker Hughes Director and General Manager-Egypt & Sudan. It was also witnessed by Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla.
