COOP Signs Protocol to Establish Stations in Qena

Petroleum Cooperative Society Company (COOP) signed a protocol with the Qena Governorate Local Services and Development Fund to establish automobile-maintenance stations and a filling station, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

COOP will establish, manage, and launch the stations after conducting the required studies, according to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla.

The protocol was signed by an official of the Qena Governorate, Abdel Hamid El Hagan, and the Head of COOP, Samir Rizk. The First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Mohamed Safaan; the Head of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), Abded Ezz El Regal; and El Molla attended the signing.

El Hagan noted that the new stations will support Qena’s development plan.
