Petroleum Cooperative Society Company (COOP) achieved 5 million tons of petroleum products sales and 38,000 tons of lubricants’ sales during the first half of fiscal year (FY) 2017/2018, stated Samir Rizk, COOP’s Head. The company plans to boost sales to 11.8 million tons in FY 2018/2019, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
“The company’s new planned projects include the renovation and renewal of automotive tankers, adding 24 automotive tankers to the company’s fleet, as well as establishing new storage warehouses, developing and building new filling stations, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) projects,” he added.
This came during the general assembly hosted by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, to review and authorize the company’s fiscal budget plan.
