China’s Oil Products Exports Down 28% in July

China’s oil product exports dropped 28% to 4.64 million tons (mmt) –MoM– in July due to oil companies’ quotas shortage, according to S&P Global Platts reporting data released by the General Administration of Customs.

The data showed that China’s gasoline, gas oil and jet fuel exports declined by 2.6% to 26.29 mmt YoY during H1 of 2021.

In addition, the country’s crude imports went down by 19.6% YoY to 9.75 million barrels per day (mmbl/d) in July.

China recorded total imports of 303.83 mmt during the first seven month of 2021 with a decreased of 5.6% YoY.
