Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, has finalized a strategic framework alliance agreement with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) to supply asset performance management services, a press release from Baker Hughes announced.
The agreement will involve Bently Nevada’s provision of plant-wide condition monitoring and machine asset protection services. This will include over 1,200 assets at more than 16 SABIC sites inside Saudi Arabia.
The alliance with SABIC will deliver localized maintenance, support, and direct access to Bently Nevada’s full range of hardware, software and services, which includes the System 1 platform.
SABIC’s Vice President, Global Procurement Services, Abdullah Al Garni said that “Our affiliates can utilize Bently Nevada’s strong track record in the domain of condition monitoring which will help boost SABIC’s asset management strategy while delivering local support, and knowledge transfer to our staff.”
For his part, Bently Nevada’s Vice President Ed J. Boufarah commented that “This alliance ensures SABIC will benefit from local in-country support and timely access to critical industrial asset performance management solutions to drive reliable, efficient operations.”
