Within the framework of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ keenness to support work sites with qualified competencies to implement its strategic pillars and objectives, and its continuous endeavor to inject new blood into leadership positions in the sector and maximize the utilization of human capital to achieve more positive results, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, has issued a new round of transfers and assignments, encompassing a number of leaders in production and administrative sites.

Nasser Mohamed Nasser Shouman was appointed as a supervisor of the Foreign Trade Prosecution and a member of the Executive Council of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), in addition to his original work within the petroleum sector.

Ahmed Kamal El Din Shafik El Desouky was assigned the role of EGPC Vice President for Exploration and a member of the Executive Council of EGPC, effective March 30, 2025.

Wael Mohamed Mohamed Rizk Aish was appointed as EGPC Vice President for Refining and Manufacturing and a member of the Executive Council, effective June 1, 2025.

Heba Allah Mohamed Abdel Qader Ali Hassan was assigned the role of Assistant to the Company Chairman for Marketing at the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM).

Salama Saber Issa Arabi Sawan was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC).

El Sayed Youssef Abbas Mohamed was assigned the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC).

Mohamed Samir Mohamed Abdel Latif was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Suez Oil Company (SUCO).

Sherif Mohamed Saleh Abu Bakr was assigned the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Abu Qir Petroleum Company.

Mahmoud Ahmed Ahmed El Sayed Tolba was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Kom Ombo Petroleum Company.

Yasser Abdel Aziz Mohamed Baraka was assigned the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Alamein Petroleum Company.

Nabawy Mahmoud Hassan Ibrahim was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Egyptian Valves Company (EVACO).

Sherif Kamel Obaid Ahmed was assigned the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Egyptian Styrene & Polystyrene Production Company (ESTYRENICS).

Hassan Ahmed Abdel Aziz Ibrahim was appointed Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian German Pump Company (Ruhrpumpen Egypt).

Mahmoud Abdel Hamid Mahmoud Mohamed was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Tharwa Breda Petroleum Service Company (TBPSCO), in addition to his original work.

Ayman Fathy Ibrahim Youssef was assigned the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petronas Egypt Oil Company, in addition to his original work.
