Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, inspected the interactive workshop for the third batch of the Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company’s (Petrojet) “Believers Build Better Tomorrow” program. The visit aimed to follow up on the program’s progress, ensure smooth implementation, and reaffirm the ministry’s support for building leadership and management skills among project managers.
Badawi praised Petrojet and its employees during the workshop, pointing out the effective role the company plays as a strong arm of the Egyptian petroleum sector in both execution and manufacturing.
The workshop takes place on September 14-18 at the company’s headquarters, with the participation of 48 project managers. This brings the total number of project managers who have participated in the three cohorts to 140.
Petrojet’s workshop focused on several key training areas, including occupational health, safety, and environmental protection (HSE). A primary objective was to develop participants’ leadership skills and deepen their understanding of institutional leadership. Additionally, the sessions covered practical skills such as managing stress and change, enhancing negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, and improving time management. A final, crucial component of the training was the development of stronger customer relationships (CRM).
Launched in May 2025, Petrojet’s “Believers Build Better Tomorrow” program is a key part of its comprehensive plan for building and developing executive leaders. The initiative aligns with the company’s strategic plan for 2022–2026 and complements the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy for talent and skills development.
