Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi has met with a number of members of the House of Representatives at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting was held within the framework of strengthening effective communication channels with representatives from the Parliament by holding a periodic meeting to listen to the demands of the people as well their constituencies and working to develop appropriate solutions for them.
At the beginning of the meeting, Badawi welcomed the representatives, highlighting his keenness to hold regular meetings to listen to the requests of the representatives, who share the demands of the constituencies they represent in various governorates. The regular meetings aim to enhance the common endeavor and provide better services to citizens through the oil and gas sector sector.
Badawi explained that achieving citizens’ satisfaction and meeting their needs is the ultimate goal of the ministry’s work strategy and its various efforts.
The meeting witnessed a review of the demands of the representatives from their constituencies to support efforts to deliver natural gas and replace it with gas stoves as a civilized service provided by the petroleum sector and from which the people of the regions and villages benefit.
The demands further included improving the services provided to citizens in the field of fuel in the governorates
The meeting emphasized that these requests would be quickly examined and studied through the entities specialized in the petroleum sector and that work would be done to implement appropriate solutions for them.
The representatives thanked and saluted Badawi for his keenness to enhance cooperation and communication with the Parliament and its representatives and to cooperate in improving services for the people of the constituencies.
During the meeting, the representatives also praised the various social contributions made by the oil and gas sector across the governorates to develop healthcare, education, and community care, and to improve the standards of living in Egyptian villages and areas most in need.
Representatives acknowledged that the oil and gas sector contributited the most to meeting the needs of people throughout various regions and villages in their governorates. They requested that this support continues for the foreseeable future.
