Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi has emphasized the key role of the petroleum media in highlighting the success stories of the sector, considering it the right arm for the sector to implement the strategy of development and continued success.

This came during his speech at the press conference that was held in Assiut Oil Refining Company (ASORC) at the end of his visit to the Assiut Petroleum region.

Badawi stressed the importance of the success stories of the new innovations and ideas as well as the establishment of the new projects and the necessity of media to tell these stories .

He also stressed the leaders’ and his commitment to always listen to the workers and employees, motivating them to continue achieving successes, especially in applying health, safety, and environmental measures.

The minister affirmed the importance of continuous dialogue with all petroleum companies and staff to increase production. He emphasized the need to benefit from the sector’s human resources and promote integration among them to stimulate teamwork and achieve success.

He pointed out that Egypt is a true regional hub for energy, whether with its natural components or the infrastructure and facilities it has. “Together, as a team, we are able to maximize the benefit from that, as well as paying attention to green energy projects and the green economy as a priority,” Badawi stated.
