Badawi Chairs Second Preparatory Meeting for EGYPES 2026

The Executive Committee of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2026) convened its second meeting, chaired by Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, to oversee preparations for the event’s ninth edition. Held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the conference and exhibition are scheduled to run from March 30 to April 1, 2026.

Badawi emphasized that the 2026 edition of EGYPES represents a vital opportunity to present an integrated vision that reflects Egypt’s standing as an attractive investment destination, thereby strengthening regional and international partnerships in the energy sector. He noted that EGYPES will bring together senior officials, CEOs of global corporations, and energy investors.

The Minister added that among the primary objectives of the new edition is to enhance integration between the public and private sectors. He also highlighted the importance of showcasing the latest innovations and digital technologies within the energy sector—specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, Hydrogen, and Renewable Energy—alongside a commitment to youth empowerment and the preparation of a new generation of industry leaders.

The meeting highlighted that the ninth edition is expected to attract over 50,000 participants from across the globe and approximately 50 international and national energy and technology companies. Additionally, the event will feature more than 350 keynote speakers across 96 specialized sessions.

The committee also discussed preparations for the various events of the ninth edition, most notably the Strategic Conference, which features 11 specialized programs and 40 sessions over the course of three days.

Meanwhile, the exhibition will host 550 exhibiting companies and 13 international pavilions, along with more than 50 national and global energy, technology, and engineering firms, in addition to governmental financing institutions.

The meeting also addressed the new events scheduled for launch, most notably the Innovation and AI Hub, which is being held for the first time as a platform to showcase digital solutions and advanced applications.
