Subsea 7 confirmed that it was has been awarded three offshore contracts by Saudi Aramco, under the long term agreement between the two companies, according to a statement.
The engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contracts were awarded for execution in a consortium with L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.
Subsea 7 revealed more detailed information about the deal that previously reported, noting that the consortium’s work scope consists of EPCI for a total of 28 Jackets.
The 28 jackets include eight new jackets to be installed in the Marjan and Zuluf fields, 10 Jackets in the Safaniya and Zuluf fields, including a pipeline decommissioning scope, and a further 10 Jackets in the Zuluf and Ribyan fields.
Although work is set to begin immediately after the deal was signed, offshore execution is due to take place in 2020.
