Aramco Announces New EVP Positions

Aramco has announced the creation of new Business Line Executive Vice President (EVP) positions in its upstream and downstream operating systems.

These positions were created in addition to the Upstream President and Downstream President positions that were established in July to assist in driving the Company’s long-term strategy throughout its value chain and worldwide portfolio.

The Board of Directors has approved the four new Business Line EVP appointments, which would be effective as of September 1, 2023.

Accordingly, Abdul Hameed A. Al Dughaither has been named Business Line Executive Vice President of Exploration, Petroleum Engineering and Drilling, while Abdulkarim A. Al Ghamdi has been named Business Line Executive Vice President of Gas. The Upstream President oversees both positions.

Ibrahim Q. Al Buainain has been named Business Line Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing, while Yasser M. Mufti has been named Business Line Executive Vice President of Products and customers. The Downstream President oversees both positions.
