Anton Oilfield Group Expresses Interest in Investing in Egyptian Market

Fan Yonghong, President of Anton Oilfield Services Group stated that his company desires to explore the available investment opportunities in the Egyptian petroleum sector. This came during his meeting with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi on the sidelines of ADIPEC 2024.

From his side, Badawi welcomed holding a meeting between the company’s officials and the officials of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) as soon as possible to discuss the available investment opportunities and identify possible aspects of cooperation between the two sides.

Additionally, the meeting reviewed the company’s activities and projects spread across more than 30 countries and regions including China, the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Moreover, Yonghong touched on the company’s success in developing Majnoon field project in Iraq as the largest overseas oil field operated by a private Chinese company and one of the largest oil fields in the world, with reserves of 38 billion barrels.
