Al Manar Trading and Distribution (AMTD) and Total signed an exclusive distribution deal for the Elf-branded lubricants in Egypt, Zawya reported.

AMTD, a subsidiary of Al Manar Group, will distribute Elf products, which are manufactured by the French company, including motor oils, hydraulic oils, and other automotive fluids.

“Lubricants will be manufactured entirely in Total plants at Burj Al Arab in Alexandria,” said Ahmed Nawara, Managing Director and CEO of Al Manar Group.

The investment climate in Egypt has become attractive in various fields including motor oils that is why major international companies and entities are keen to be present and invest in the Egyptian market, Nawara added.
