Al-Manar Group plans to boost its exports to 10% in 2019, as the company increases its lubricant production capacity and supplies them to a number of new Arab and African markets.
Egypt’s economic reform steps, including the EGP floatation, has helped the company increase its exports levels from 0% before the floatation to 6% in 2018, Ahmed Nawara, CEO of Al-Manar, told Amwal Al Ghad.
The production capacity of Al-Manar factory has reached almost 5,000 tons per year, as the company plans to further develop the factory during the period from 2018 to 2022 and expand abroad, Nawara said.
The factory was built only on 15% of the group’s land in 6th of October City, which gives a space for expansion and capacity increase.
Al-Manar Group looks forward to entering new markets in East-African countries, especially in Kenya as it is considered the main distributor in the East.
