Agiba Petroleum Company has commissioned Engineering For The Petroleum & Process Industries (Enppi) to develop crude oil shipping systems from its Meleiha field, which is located in the Egyptian Western Desert, reported Al Mal News.
Enppi will provide engineering, procurement, and construction works for pumps on the field. A source says the project will be completed within nine months, but did not provide information on the value of the contract, according to Energy Egypt.
Meanwhile, Enppi finalized executing West El Menia expansion work, at Port Said Governorate, for Pahroanic Petroleum Company.
An official from Enppi stated that the company took over the management, engineering, procurement and construction work in the project.
In related news, Egypt expects to raise up to $150m from Enppi’s initial public offering as the government pushes ahead with a plan to sell stakes in state-controlled companies.
