The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has announced opening two service stations in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Gazette reported.

The two service stations are located on the Riyadh-Dammam highway and the second one in the city of Hofuf in Al Ahsa Governorate.

“These initial two stations are significant in that they will enable us to interact directly with Saudi customers and, where necessary, tailor our services for this important market as we continue to look at options for growth”, Saeed Al Rashdi, Acting CEO of ADNOC Distribution, said.

This step comes in line with ADNOC’s strategy to expand its downstream activities beyond the UAE.

“This is an important moment in our company’s history – our first step into the international arena,” Al Rashdi added.
