Admasco Oil Field Services Company plans to build a maintenance factory in Egypt with a $10m investment. Admasco’s Chairman, Hesham Gamal El Noury, stated that the company is now studying the feasibility of the plant and the proposed sites in Cairo, reported Daily News Egypt.
Admasco’s investments in Egypt amount to $5m, spanning across different projects. El Noury pointed out that the most challenging obstacle the company is facing in Egypt is the shortage of hard cash.
Even though the legislation and laws governing investment in Egypt are attractive for companies, “the shortage of hard cash on the market hinders our expansion plans and limits our business size,” El Noury added.
Admasco has been operating in the field of petroleum services since 1982.
