Egypt Oil & Gas (EOG) will host its first webinar under the title “Egypt’s Oil and Gas Sector Pandemic and Commodity Price Crash” on June 24 at 12 PM.

The webinar will be moderated by the President and CEO of Apex International Energy Thomas Maher. Speakers at the webinar will include Sameh Sabry, Vice President (VP) and Managing Director of WintershellDea – Egypt; Nicolas Katcharov, Vice President Operations MENA Edison SpA; and Colby Fuser VP of Halliburton – Egypt and Libya.

The webinar will delve into several topics regarding the current situation of the oil market that was swept by the pandemic and price collapse. The speakers will provide their insights on exploration and production (E&P) plans while committing to the agreed-upon production cuts as well as successfully handling the fluctuations of the oil prices. They will further discuss how these plans will help companies achieve operational excellence and cost-efficiency. Additionally, with lockdown restrictions being lifted globally, the speakers will shed light on managing safety and production during these unprecedented times. Finally, the speakers will provide an examination of the oil industry’s new normal in a post-pandemic world and the oil outlook in H2 2020.
